Valentines day and of course there was clean surf!
A cloudy morning with some clean surf made things interesting.At this point I’d only shot Aerial Photographs in color and had been spoilt with the amazing Florida sun.
When the waves are smaller than usual a paddle board comes into its own. It gives you the option of being on the outside and hence grabbing the waves before they even get to the surfers. I’d already come out of the water and set up the drone to get some more aerial photos. I wanted to capture something different to the overhead aerial photograph and something that would give the feel of being sat in the line up.
And so with the light being straight down the lense it gave me the perfect faded image and started a real step forward for me with Art Photography.
